We use thermography to pinpoint the source of the pain and low-intensity laser therapy to reduce pain and stimulate/accelerate healing.
Thermography creates an infrared image that shows the patterns of inflammation within the body. Safe and radiation free thermography provides insight into pain conditions, cardio-vascular function, and cancer including breast cancer.
Low Intensity Laser Therapy
Inflammation is the body’s natural healing response to injury. For chronic pain, the laser stimulates the inflammatory process to promote healing. With acute pain such as that experienced following motor vehicle accidents and sports injuries, the laser accelerates the inflammatory process to speed healing. When it is possible to implement laser treatments quickly post-injury, healing has been reported to be accelerated by as much as 50% to 75%.

A retired teacher, Clare has spent most of her professional career working with immigrants teaching English as a Second Language. She has a long-standing interest in health and wellness that has been strengthened by her exchange with students from all over the world. A strong believer in the need to take control of one’s own health, she is excited to be involved with her sister, Estelle, bringing the Bioflex laser technology to St. John’s.
